FOR WOMEN
BY WOMEN
We are women who are lion-hearted. We are NOT radical feminists but we believe in our rights and in individuality. We are opinionated and we speak our hearts.

"Self assured and confident
With pride she now stands tall
Head erect and heart all set
She now gives her all

No matter what she does in life
Strength is shining through
Realizing all her worth
Her soul found brave and true
Woman born of confidence
Each step that she now takes
Will leave a mark upon the world
Her spirit will not break
All the life that she will live
Her victory designed
This her wish a treasured girft
That heart and soul divined
Watch her as she's walking by
So powerful her stride
Yet gentle as the morning spring
With beauty well supplied
Speak to her at break of day
With power she will rise
Reflections of the life she shares
Looking through your eyes."

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman Is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows.
The beauty of a woman
With passing years -- only grows.

I'VE LEARNED that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I'VE LEARNED that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I'VE LEARNED that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.

I'VE LEARNED that it takes years to build up trust,
and only seconds to destroy it.

I'VE LEARNED that sometimes when I'm angry
I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I'VE LEARNED that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I'VE LEARNED that my best friend and I can do anything
or nothing and have the best time.

I'VE LEARNED that either you control your attitude
or it controls you.

I'VE LEARNED that it's not WHAT you have in your life
but WHO you have in your life that counts.

I'VE LEARNED that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you had better know something.

I'VE LEARNED that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I'VE LEARNED that you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I'VE LEARNED that learning to forgive takes practice.

I'VE LEARNED that writing, as well as talking, can ease emotional pains ...

something i got in my inbox today...

When you think of your past love, you may view it as a failure.
But when you find a new love, you view the past as a teacher.

In the game of love, it doesn't really matter who won or who lost.
what is important is you know when to hold on and when to let go.

You know you really love someone when you want her or him to be happy,
even if their happiness means that you're not part of it.
Everything happens for the best.

If the person you love doesn't love you back,
dont be afraid to love someone else again,
for you'll never know unless you give it a try.

You'll never love a person you love unless you risk for love.

Love strives in hurting. If you don't get hurt,
you don't learn how to love.

Love doesn't hurt all the time,
though the hurting is still there to test you, to help you grow.

Don't find love, let love find you.
That's why it's called falling in love
because you don't force yourself to fall.
You just fall.

You cannot finish a book without closing it's chapter.
If you want to go on, then you have to leave the past as you turn the pages.

Love is not destroyed by a single failure or won by a single caress.
It is a lifetime venture in which we are always learning, discovering and
growing.

The greatest irony of love is letting go when you need to hold on,
and holding on when you need to let go.

We lose someone we love only when we are destined to find someone else
who can love us even more than we can love ourselves.

On falling out of love, take sometime to heal and then get back on the
horse.
But don't ever make the same mistake of riding the same one that threw you
the first time.

To love is to risk rejections,
to live is to risk dying,
to hope is to risk failure.
But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk
nothing!

To reach for another is to risk involvement,
To expose your feelings is to expose true self,
To love is to risk not to be loved in return.

How to define love:
Fall but do not stumble,
be constant but not too persistent,
share and never be unfair,
understand and try not to demand,
hurt but never keep the pain.

Love is like a knife.
It can stab the heart or it can carve wonderful images into the soul that
always last for a lifetime.

Love is supposed to be the most wonderful feeling.
It should inspire you and give you joy and strength.
But sometimes the things that give you joy can also hurt you in the end.

Loving people means giving them the freedom who they choose to be and where
they choose to be.

For all the heartaches and the tears,
for gloomy days and fruitless years,
you should give thanks,
for you know that these were the things which helped you grow.

Loving someone means giving him the freedom to find his way,
whether it leads towards you or away from you.

Love is a painful risk to take
But the risk must be taken no matter how scary or painful,
for only then you'll experience the fullness of humanity and that is LOVE.

Only love can hurt your heart,
fill you with desire and tear you apart.
Only love can make you cry and only love knows why.

If you're not ready to cry,
If you're not ready to take the risk,
If you're not ready to feel the pain,
then you are not ready to fall in love.

There as a time in our lives when we became afraid to fall in love
coz everytime we do, we get hurt,...then I figured that's why its called
falling in love.

When you decide to love, allow it to grow.
When you promise to love, refuse to let it die!

Chances Are

When chance comes into play, do you join the dance or do you shy away and return to the sidelines? Opportunity knocks but once and I believe we must seize the day. Fools do rush in but aren't all who have succeeded in this world were thought of as mad, stupid, silly, foolish? Will you let the moment of destiny diminish by gripping the claws of fear or do you spread your wings and fly?

Make your choice.

The chance is now.
